Continuing the Founder Foundations series, Steve tackles brand positioning and why most sellers' unique selling propositions aren't unique at all. He argues real differentiation starts with understanding your competitive landscape before deciding how to stand apart.
He covers both tangible differentiators, like a proprietary product finish you can trademark, and intangible ones, like a mission customers want to buy into, with the caveat that it has to be genuine. Useful for any seller whose messaging currently sounds like everyone else's.
